2. Information we collect

• Name, email address, and phone / WhatsApp number
• Trip details you provide (destination, dates, group size, interests)
• Messages you send through our enquiry form or WhatsApp
• Technical data such as browser type, pages visited, and approximate location (via standard server and analytics logs, if enabled)

We do not require an account to browse the site. We do not knowingly collect information from children except as provided by a parent or guardian booking a family safari.

3. How we use your information

• To respond to safari enquiries and prepare itineraries and quotes
• To confirm bookings, payments, and travel arrangements with lodges and suppliers
• To send trip updates you have requested
• To improve the website and our services
• To meet legal, tax, and booking-record obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We only send marketing emails if you have asked to hear from us (for example via the newsletter form).

Analytics cookies (via Google Tag Manager, and any tags you enable inside that container such as Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or Microsoft Clarity) load only if you tap Accept on the cookie banner. 5. Third-party services

We share information only as needed to run the business:

• Web3Forms — processes enquiry form submissions so we receive your message by email
• Google Tag Manager (and tags you enable inside it, such as Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or Microsoft Clarity) — only if you accept analytics cookies
• WhatsApp— if you choose to message us, that conversation is subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy
• Lodges, camps, airlines, and ground operators — names and travel dates needed to hold or confirm your booking
• Hosting and email providers — to operate the website and communicate with you

Those providers process data under their own terms. We ask them to handle your information only for the purpose we specify.

6. How long we keep data

Enquiry details are kept as long as needed to plan your trip and for a reasonable period afterwards (for follow-up, accounting, and legal records). You can ask us to delete or update your information unless we must keep it for a booking, payment, or legal reason.

7. Your rights

You may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we have no ongoing need to keep it. To make a request, email info@mellowsafaris.com with enough detail for us to find your records. We will respond as promptly as we reasonably can.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information. No website or email transmission is completely secure, so please do not send payment card numbers through the enquiry form.
